"Three Of A Con"

Summary by Wolf Films Production.

LOG LINE:

The Players set up an elaborate sting to apprehend the criminals behind an illegal high stakes poker ring.

SYNOPSIS:

The Players are dispatched to break up an illegal high stakes poker ring, run by Quinton Belkey, a white collar criminal, recently released from a "country club" prison, who mysteriously has unlimited funds to perpetrate these games.

The Players' first mandate is to move the game from a luxury hotel, to a "fixed" location -- in this case, a restaurant taken over by the FBI. The elaborate scenario calls for Isaac "Ice" Gregory To pose as the maitre 'd/owner, while Charlie is the waiter. Alphonse acts as a security guard, hired by Stuart Finch, a banker and one of Belkey's poker pals, who subtly controls the sting from inside.

Alphonse makes conditions unsuitable at the hotel, and recommends Morgans (the FBI restaurant). All is going as planned, when Agent Chris Kowalski can't extricate the needed case file necessary to make a bust, while at her office. Recruiting Ice to help retrieve her file (now in her boss' briefcase), Charlie is thrust into the role as owner, one he is hesitant to assume.

While all this is going on, several misfits enter the restaurant, distracting the gamblers and complicating the operation. But quick thinking by Ice, including an intricate briefcase switch, allows him, and his boss (Kowalski) to arrive at the scene in time to trap Belkey.
