"Rashocon"

Summary by Wolf Films Production.

Log Line-

The Players are apprehended after an alleged armored car heist goes awry, each have a different version of the story, but the truth is the most bizarre of all.

Synopsis-

The Players are apprehended while attempting an armored car heist, allegedly trying to out-con an apocryphal career named Alex Duchek. But in the interrogation room, all three different versions of the events, confusing Lt. Mike Harper, a veteran detective only days from retirement, who is assigned the case.

The common thread in all three stories is that a gorgeous and mysterious woman named Veronica Salt is acting as a middle-person for Duchek, although he had been reported dead in Montenegro. But Lt. Harper isn't buying any of this and keeps the Players behind bars. Their FBI chaperon, Chris Kowalski, also runs into problems backing them up, and it looks like Lt. Harper isn't letting anyone off soon.

Meanwhile, five million dollars from the armored heist remains at large, so Harper decides to track it down. Kowalski, following Harper, ends up in the Player's surveillance van, where a cameraman mounted on a telephone pole outside Veronica's house shows her pulling the strong box with the money, being shot by a strange man (Alex Duchek?) who watches futilely as the money falls to the bottom of her pool.

Harper and Kowalski race to the house, but Harper turns on Chris because as it turns out, he's been the dirty one all along, and the disappearance of large sums of money after robberies, originally blamed on Duchek (who doesn't exist) was actually Harper padding his own coffers so he could retire in peace in Tahiti, without his wife and kids. The con was the Players weaving their own tall tales if a fictitious armored car robbery to the crooked detective, who gets beaten at his own game.
