"Con Artist"

Summary by Wolf Films Production.

LOG LINE:

The Players infiltrate an art gallery to expose a massive thief ring.

SYNOPSIS:

The Players' latest assignment is to infiltrate the exclusive Beverly Hills art gallery owned by Eduard Micah, who runs in high circles, and steals high end art. In order to expose the con, Isaac "Ice" Gregory convinces Micah to hire him, and negotiate the sale of a stolen Van Gogh from a "buyer," Raul Santiago, who is really Alphonse in disguise.

In order to execute the exchange, Charlie and Alphonse park in the surveillance van outside the LA County Museum of Art while Ice and Micah's assistant, Rafaela steal the painting. But complications including a tripped alarm cause Rafaela to panic, and demand the "real" (not fake) work of art, which Ice retrieves from his bag. However, Ice's quick hands have planted a homing device on the real masterpiece, and the Players track it to the vault, where Micah and Rafaela stash it along with other priceless (and obviously stolen) works of art.

Now that the Players know where Micah keeps his illegally obtained collection, they set up a sting whereby they get caught by Micah, are locked in the vault, and, using tools hidden in a fake jade elephant, escape with all the artwork.

Micah now has to contend with the grand party to promote his new collection, but when a television crew comes to interview him, they see the stolen art, and Micah is seized by the FBI.
